Dear Film Makers
Thanks for your patience. So here finally is our list of shortlisted films to be shown at the Holmfirth Film Festival. Film Makers whose work is being shown as part of the 7.30pm programme on Tuesday 25th, will find a ticket on the door for them (let us know if you are coming). If you need to know any further information, please get in touch or visit our website. Other than that THANK YOU ALL very much for your films, it’s been a fantastic opportunity to watch them all (we received in total 305 films from all over the world).

p.s.Additional to the programmes below, we will be showing a selection of the experimental and fun entries at the wrap party on Saturday 29th, hope you can make it.

Submissions 2011

If you are interested in submitting your work for the Holmfirth Film Festival 2011, we’d love to see it. We are looking for short film submissions for screenings and awards, and will welcome pretty much anything. If you’d like to contribute, read on

Deadline for 2011:

Categories:
Short films below 10 minutes; drama, comedy, animation, silent films, experimental work…. anything else you can think of!

Requirements:
Work made in any format is acceptable, but please supply viewing copies on DVD

Awards:
In 2010 we awarded a prize for the Winner and Runner Up in two categories: Best Northern Short Film and the best “Beyond the Summer Wine” Short Film
