Competition

Holmfirth Film Festival is looking for the Disney, Pixel animation stars of the future.

In collaboration with professional animator, Doctor Simpo, and local company Red Ledge, the Festival has organised an exciting film animation competition for young people.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the band Pink Floyd, the Festival is looking for short 2 minute films on the theme of Psychedelia.

Dr Simpo said: “We want to see an explosion of colour. Vibrant splats of neon, fluorescent, abstract shapes, rhythms in all kinds of animation. Use your imagination for a mind-blowing short film.”
