Volunteer

We are a completely volunteer-led organisation based in Holmfirth.

We host monthly Sunday Screenings, Festival Weekends and the occasional Festival weeks offering film, talks and events.

We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing team of passionate and dedicated volunteers, and we’re always keen to welcome people to join us.

Our volunteers are an integral part of our team, giving their time and enthusiasm to help us provide a great experience for our audiences. As a volunteer-led organization based in Holmfirth we encourage people from all walks of life to engage and get involved.   

Volunteering with Holmfirth FIlm Festival is a great way to meet new people, develop new skills, gain experience and become part of our local community.

We are always looking for either technical or front of house assistance at screenings and events. You could get involved in:

  • Distribution of brochures and flyers

  • Digital Event administration

  • Front-of-House duties

  • Assisting our technical teams

  • Marketing and social media

  • and much more…
